Ascenso al Monte Everest
Viendo Google pongo este hito que dio que hablar en su tiempo en todo el mundo, recuerdo en la década del 90 igual unos tipos ascendieron el Everest…
Hoy es el aniversario del Monte Everest, considerado el más alto del mundo. En 1953 fue la primera ascensión al monte por el neocelandés Edmund Percival Hillary y el sherpa Tenzing Norgay donde llegan a la cima a las 11.30 del 29 de mayo.
El Everest tiene 8.851 Metros de altura en relación a un punto cero que es el nivel del mar. La montaña fue nombrada Everest en honor de Sir George Everest, británico, topógrafo general de la India, en 1865.
